MDRS organized training for 80 health professionals from 25 Methodist Health Facilities with funding
from CHAG to start an initiative to eliminate fluctuations in the quality of services provided in Methodist Health Facilities dubbed “EFIQS”.
The training provided skills in mapping out and analyzing the processes of care to identify potential
failure modes within the system and their causes and effects. The outcome of the training was an agreed
charter to standardize the clinical and administrative processes within Methodist Health Facilities,
with measures for monitoring progress.
The direct beneficiaries are the health professional who acquire the skills provided. The knowledge and skills acquired will be translated to quality services that are accessed by over 150,000 persons annually.
