MDRS responded to an appeal by the Member of Parliament for the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency in
the Upper West Region for support for people who were affected by a heavy rainfall. Farm lands and
properties worth millions of cedis were destroyed by the floods. 

One person died; 18 feeder roads that provided access to health services were cut off, and over 900 people were affected.

MDRS led by the Board Chairman, Director for Social Services and the Executive Director, donated Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis GHS 10,000) to support the flood victims.
